About the event
Welcome to Start-Up Academy — where creativity meets entrepreneurship! In this hands-on course, young innovators in grades 1–5 will discover how ideas grow into real-world ventures. Through games, teamwork, and imagination, students will learn the core building blocks of entrepreneurship — from spotting everyday problems and brainstorming creative solutions to designing products, building brands, and pitching their ideas with confidence.
Each week brings a new adventure in innovation: students will prototype inventions, design logos, role-play customer interactions, manage “mini-budgets,” and even run fun classroom business simulations. Along the way, they’ll practice collaboration, communication, and creative problem-solving — the same skills that make great leaders and entrepreneurs. By the end of the program, every child will walk away not only with a business concept they’re proud of, but with the mindset that big ideas can come from anyone, anywhere — even from them!
