MEET THE TEAM
Lesya Merena
Lesya holds a bachelor of science in finance from DePaul University. She has spent her early career working in finance, only to transition to running her own businesses (yes, it’s plural!). Being an entrepreneur and a young mom, she sees it as her mission to bring financial education to schools across the country and empower kids to be the best version of themselves.
Olga Davis
Olga holds a BBA and an MBA in finance degrees. She is also a CFP® professional. She has a diverse experience in financial services industry ranging from working in Wealth Management space at a traditional institution, being a part of a FinTech startup to running her own business. After spending years acquiring financial knowledge, Olga believes that financial literacy should be a part of our educational system. It should be taught at a young age and be accessible and easy to digest for everyone from kids to adults.
Ian Corse
Ian is invested in hands-on experiences for youth that promote engagement, exploration, and personal empowerment. He has worked with children of all ages, developing youth programming in a variety of summer camps, classrooms, and after-school activities. Educational opportunities for financial literacy are few and far between, and Ian is very excited to provide the opportunity for youth to develop their finance and life skills, so that they are prepared, confident, and ready to take on the world!
OUR INSTRUCTORS
Our Instructors are experienced educators who are enthusiastic and passionate about teaching, technology and science. They come from different walks of life but have something in common: they have effective classroom management skills, energetic personalities and ability to engage children in the lesson plan and keep them engaged during the lesson. Punctuality and reliability are core qualities all our instructors posses. We complete full background screening for all of our instructors prior to their start and provide ongoing training and support.
